In the Düsseldorf district of Rath, Bonava is developing a construction project with 3 apartment blocks and a total of 113 residential units. The expertise of Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft was not only called in for the planning of the excavation pit including the shoring concept on the directly adjacent neighbouring buildings in 2019. We also developed the associated tender and created the required excavation and recycling concept. The support of the demolition of the houses and warehouses located on the site was also part of the range of services carried out.

On the basis of the excavation developed by Mull und Partner and the excavation and recycling concept, the excavation could be dug and the shoring set in summer 2020 without any delays. Difficulties with the neighbour's adjacent gable wall and an underground car park entrance were avoided at an early stage by working with foresight.

The excavation of the 1st construction phase was completed at the beginning of autumn 2020. At present, the structural engineering is progressing rapidly. In summer 2021, the excavation of the 2nd construction phase with shoring along the pavement of Westfalenstraße will follow. After completion of the excavation work, Mull und Partner Ingenieursgesellschaft will of course continue to advise the client and carry out acceptance tests during the further construction process.
