You know the short appointments in a big city. Just a quick trip to the construction site to take samples or to the environmental agency to inspect expert reports, and then you're stuck in the traffic jam at the end of the day or looking for a parking space for 20 minutes.
At the Hanover location, this has been a thing of the past for some time now, as a total of three company bicycles are available for such undertakings.
Two of these bicycles are also classic "baker's bicycles" with which sampling equipment, taken samples or even 1.5 shelf metres of documents can be transported without any problems.
The employees at the Hanover site like to use the bikes in many ways, even if they are sometimes looked at askance on the construction site. But when you cycle past the site manager standing in a traffic jam, this attitude changes very quickly.
The bikes are also very popular with colleagues for special missions such as deadline measurements in the middle of the city centre or metrological monitoring of construction sites in the cramped residential quarters of List, Linden or Südstadt.
In any case, a further expansion of the bicycle fleet at Mull und Partner in Hanover is planned for the future.
Whether it's for a construction meeting, an appointment with the authorities or for taking samples, the bikes have saved a lot of short trips to the city centre by company car over the last two years, thus making a small contribution to climate protection.
