ESG Energy Source: Heat pumps

Heat pump

The use of renewable energy sources for heating and cooling purposes contributes significantly to reducing the need for fossil fuels, which in turn leads to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions in the building sector. By 2045, all existing buildings are to be climate neutral, and from 1 January 2024, new buildings must meet at least 65% of their heating needs from renewable energy. A crucial solution to achieve these goals is the transition from fossil fuels such as natural gas and oil to environmentally friendly and sustainable alternatives such as Heat pumps.

Heat pumps are versatile technologies that are revolutionising the way we heat and cool. The heat pumps sort in different ways like:

  • Air-to-water heat pumps Use the thermal energy from the ambient air to heat or cool buildings.
  • Brine-water heat pumps Use the constant temperature below the earth's surface to generate heat. This option is particularly sustainable and efficient and also enables free cooling in summer.
  • Water-to-water heat pumps: Extract thermal energy from water sources such as lakes or groundwater. Ideal for heating and cooling purposes.

M&P ENERGY GmbH supports you in the planning, development and implementation of heat pump projects. We accompany you throughout the entire process to ensure that your building is heated and cooled in an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and comfortable way.

Let's work together for a sustainable future and accelerate the change to environmentally friendly heat pumps!
