Core competences are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and deconstruction), in the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites as well as for the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.
M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Hannover is looking for the following as soon as possible a Geoscientist (m/f/d) as project manager in the field of historical-genetic reconstructions for CMR and contaminated sites at the Hanover site.
Tasks include:
- Development of historical-genetic reconstructions of possible explosive ordnance contamination according to bfr-kmr.de (Phase A) and historical research on contaminated sites in connection with infrastructure and construction measures
- Coordination of a team of geoscientists that focuses on the historical investigation of contaminated sites and explosive ordnance as well as conducting archival research.
- Cooperation with other project teams in the above context
- Maintaining contacts and advising public clients
What you should bring with you:
- Degree in natural sciences (preferably geosciences, geography or environmental sciences or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of contaminated sites or related topics
- Historical military knowledge (especially history of the two world wars)
- Good written expression, experience in report/expertise writing
- Experience in the field of explosive ordnance detection and assessment desirable
- Knowledge in the application of databases and geographical information systems or the willingness to deal with these topics from the user's point of view desirable
- Experience in the field of remote sensing / aerial image analysis desirable
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, goal orientation, economic thinking, interest in interdisciplinary contexts
