A commercial real estate developer is planning the construction or expansion of a logistics hall on a commercially used site in the southwest of Hamburg. For this purpose, the demolition of a 4-storey office and laboratory building with basement as well as 2 adjacent cold storage halls was necessary. Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was commissioned with the building pollutant investigation of the office and laboratory building to be deconstructed, the subsoil investigation in the area of the new hall to be erected, the preparation of the tender documents for the building deconstruction as well as the technical construction supervision during the deconstruction work.
The building pollutant and soil investigation work was carried out by M&P employees in February and April 2020. The tender documents for the deconstruction services were handed over to the contracting authority at the beginning of June 2020 and the services were awarded in autumn 2020. In April 2021, the work on the deconstruction of the building began and has since been accompanied by M&P experts. The completion of the deconstruction work is planned for June 2021, followed by the new construction of the planned logistics hall. M&P will carry out the compaction controls as external supervisor.
