Continuous training, networking and the exchange of experience and knowledge are part of our everyday work in order to keep our finger on the pulse of the industry and to constantly improve.
So it is a matter of course for us to take part in the BDFWT (Bund Deutscher Feuerwerker und Wehrtechniker e.V.) specialist conference on explosive ordnance disposal in Bad Kissingen on 13 and 14 March 2023. The meeting of representatives from engineering offices, commercial explosive ordnance disposal, manufacturers, research and authorities, among others, is not only an opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, but also to develop cooperation.
In addition to the interesting presentations and impulses from various parts of the industry, this year our Managing Director Karsten Helms, together with Martin Kötter from IFAH GbR, gave a presentation on the topic of the effects of energy inputs during earthworks on neighbouring properties. This is an important topic that urgently needs to be discussed in the industry in order to enable applicable and uniform approaches to the issue in Germany.
During the evening event, there was of course enough time to discuss the topics of the day with each other over dinner and a cold drink or two, and also to make new connections.
We look forward to the next event with new impulses, developments and progress.
