What makes you a colleague?

"My colleagues would probably describe me as persistent, reliable and correct."

What is the challenge of your job at M&P?

"Definitely the unpredictability - having to reinvent and organise myself every day and to pursue new ideas and approaches every day. No project or location is the same as another and even within a project the variety of tasks makes my job a challenge, but at the same time something special and exciting. I also see the consideration and combination of the most diverse compartments of a system from the various perspectives of geology, environmental engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, etc. and the composition of these many individual puzzle pieces into an overall understanding of a site as a special and exciting challenge. The daily gain in knowledge shows how diverse and equally challenging the job is."

What motivates you to enjoy going to work every day?

"My answer to the previous question sums it up pretty well. The constant challenge, the constant "going above and beyond", the variety and diversity of the job and the daily gain in knowledge and new insights motivate me to get on my bike every morning and cycle to work. What also drives me every day is the unbelievable team spirit - pursuing goals together, working out solutions to problems and reaching the goal, and that beyond one's own location. Being part of a big team that can achieve anything together makes me feel good."
