The SPARCS party in the Dunckerviertel took place on the LWB grounds in early July in beautiful sunshine. As a model neighbourhood, part of the district is the focus of the EU-funded project to develop energy-positive neighbourhoods.
In order to involve the local people in the process, we regularly organise events. At the SPARCS party, citizens were given the opportunity to talk to the SPARCS partners in Leipzig in person. In the neighbourhood meeting place of the LWB, the guests could get an impression of the future design of the Dunckerviertel by the Digital City department, pick up heating and electricity saving tips from Caritas or get technical insights into the topic of smart metering from our colleagues from Cenero. In addition, the guests could get creative with handicrafts at a table provided by the LWB and exchange information about the latest developments in the neighborhood over a cup of coffee. Right next door, the State Film Service delighted families and children with the animated film "Shorty and the Secret of the Magic Reef".
As organisers, we from the seecon engineers were available all day to answer questions about the party and the SPARCS project and its process.
In September and October we are back in the neighbourhood. This time with our family cinema on 27.09.2023 from 16:30 and again on 05.10.2023 at 16:00 with the energy consultation offered by Caritas and the WSL. We look forward to seeing you there!
