The Osnabrück site of Mull und Partner Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was awarded the contract for the submeasure "Construction section oil turnout" for the preliminary investigation of the chemical composition of the soil with regard to potential acidification due to the influence of geogenic sulphate deposits in the as-is state.

M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was commissioned by DB Netz AG to carry out small pile-driving and the subsequent evaluation of the extracted soil material as a result of laboratory analysis. The commissioned analysis is to record and document the chemical composition of the soil at the time of the investigation. The submeasure "Construction section oil switch" concerns the construction of an overtaking track on the railway line 1552 for overtaking processes in PFA 6 ABS Oldenburg - Wilhelmshaven, more precisely in the area of line kilometre km 9.532 - km 10.526.

Under the direction of our colleague Moritz Lenz, the planning and implementation of the field work as well as the evaluation of the survey results obtained will take place in spring 2021.
