Introduction of new employees
We are pleased to introduce our new colleague Cea Bollhorst and welcome her once again! Cea has been supporting our team at the Osnabrück site since the beginning of August. Her first major project is the large-scale upgrade of the line between Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven through the Soil and waste management ahead.
Cea changed her direction after studying home economics and discovered an affinity for soil science during her bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences. Here she learned about soil processes, pollutants and soil remediation, as well as methods for spatial analysis. She dedicated her bachelor's thesis to infiltration and wetting properties of soils. She then specialised in soil science by studying for a Master's degree in geosciences at the University of Hamburg. In this degree, Cea dealt extensively with soil diversity, pollutant loads and soil remediation. But she also brings expertise in applied engineering geology. In order to maintain her creativity, Cea worked for two years during her studies as an academic tutor in the media production department of the University College in Hamburg, where she produced media to improve the quality of teaching, among other things.
Through her varied experiences at a young age, Cea brings new ideas to the M&P Group in a motivated and creative way.
