The groundbreaking ceremony for the Hitachi Columbus Campus project in Mannheim took place on 20.09.2023 in glorious late summer weather.
A beautiful and also important event for us the M&P Project GmbH as commissioned Project controller and thus part of the team of the builder, the 3iPro GmbH.
We thank the innovative project developer 3iPro GmbH for the trustful cooperation and we are very much looking forward to the joint realisation of the Hitachi Columbus Campus project.
Project description
On the 13,626sqm plot, 4 commercial buildings with a total usable area of approx. 22,000sqm are planned. The development is divided into a north and a south half with two buildings each. The groundbreaking ceremony on 20.9.2023 marked the start of the first two buildings on the southern half.
This is the new corporate headquarters of Hitachi Energy Germany AG with a usable area of around 9,700 sqm and the so-called "Tower B", another office building with an area of around 4,300 sqm.
